For over a decade, our creative collaboration with Vanity Fair has transformed a simple concept into an iconic annual tradition—the Vanity Fair Oscars Party portrait studio. Partnering closely with the visionary set designer Thomas Thurnaer, each year we reimagine the space from the ground up, creating a unique environment that serves as both a backdrop and a character in itself.

The Pop-up Studio
Each year, we collaborate with a talented set designer to bring to life a pop-up photo studio at the Oscars after-party. Every studio is built around a distinct theme, meticulously planned for months, and brought to life in just two days. The result is an 18-by-30-foot rectangular studio that springs up almost overnight in a Beverly Hills parking lot, transforming an ordinary space into something extraordinary.
Once inside, the atmosphere changes. The carefully curated set—designed with intricate details, from textures to lighting—becomes a private world where Hollywood’s biggest stars can shed the formality of the evening. It’s a space where they can let their hair down, step out of character, and explore something more playful, personal, and performative.
