Ray-Ban Aviator’s 75th Anniversary
Seliger Studio collaborated with Ray-Ban to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the debut of their aviator sunglasses. Created by Marcel Worldwide, the campaign comprises seven photographs each focusing on a different decade in Ray-Ban’s history.
The stories behind each of the images were inspired by real-life legendary personalities who made history by achieving social changes, from pilot Raymond Swalley to writer Taylor Mead and musician Norman Blagman. Costumes were designed by Oscar-nominated Arianne Phillips.
As with previous campaigns, each ad carries the message ‘Never Hide’ and aims to show how Ray-Ban wearers stand out from the crowd.
